The 14th International Biennial of Graphic Arts
The catalogue of the 14th International Biennial of Graphic Arts, which was on view at the Museum of Modern Art and included works by 576 artists from 60 countries. The works were evaluated by an eight-member international jury.
The main biennial exhibition, the personal retrospectives of the award-winners and the accompanying exhibition were designed by Jure Mikuž, Ivan Sedej and Živa Škodlar-Vujić. The personal retrospectives of the first three award-winners of the previous edition (Robert Rauschenberg, Adriena Šimotová, Adriana Maraž) and a special commemorative exhibition of Slovenian partisan printmaking (Alenka Gerlovič, Vito Globočnik, Božidar Jakac, Dore Klemenčič, France Mihelič, Nikolaj Pirnat, Ivan Seljak-Čopič, Ive Šubic, Drago Vidmar, Nande Vidmar) were mounted and the accompanying texts published in the catalogue.
The catalogue is lavishly illustrated in black and white and includes a few colour reproductions of the exhibited works. On the cover is a reproduction of a work by Adriana Maraž. Jože Brumen designed the print matter and typographically edited the catalogue. The biennial’s poster and visual identity were designed by Matjaž Vipotnik.
