The 11th Biennial of Graphic Arts
The catalogue of the 11th Biennial of Graphic Arts, which was on view at the Museum of Modern Art and included works by 439 artists from 51 countries. The works were evaluated by an eight-member international jury. The 11th Biennial of Graphic Arts was organised under the patronage of the President of the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia Josip Broz Tito.
The main biennial exhibition, the personal retrospectives of the award-winners and the accompanying exhibitions were designed by Janez Bernik, Zoran Kržišnik and Sergej Pavlin. The personal retrospectives of the first three award-winners of the previous edition (Miroslav Šutej, Andrzej Lachowicz, Janez Bernik) and the exhibitions of artists from the critic–artist section (Edgardo Gimenez, Roman Scheidl, Concetto Pozzati, Ziva Lieblich, Tetsuya Noda, Adriana Maraž, Vlady (Kibalchich), Peter Ackermann, Paul van Dijk, Antoni Starczewski, Sérgio Pinhão, Eduardo Arranz Bravo, Rafael Bartolozzi, Ulf Trotzig, Albert Yersin, John Walker, Robert Rauschenberg) were mounted and the accompanying texts published in the catalogue.
The catalogue is lavishly illustrated in black and white and includes a few colour reproductions of the exhibited works. On the cover is a reproduction of a work by Miroslav Šutej. Jože Brumen designed the print matter and typographically edited the catalogue.
