The 9th International Exhibition of Graphic Arts
The catalogue of the 9th International Exhibition of Graphic Arts, which was on view at the Museum of Modern Art and included works by 375 artists from 49 countries. The works were evaluated by a ten-member international jury.
The main biennial exhibition and the personal retrospectives of the award-winners were designed by Sergej Pavlin, Zoran Kržišnik and Janez Bernik. The personal retrospectives of the first four award-winners of the previous edition (Giuseppe Capogrossi, Janez Bernik, Jiří Anderle, Lourdes Castro) were mounted and the accompanying texts published in the catalogue.
The catalogue is lavishly illustrated in black and white and includes a few colour reproductions of the exhibited works. In 1971, Janez Bernik and Jože Brumen received the BIO 4 award for the visual identity of the 9th International Exhibition of Graphic Arts.
