The 17th International Biennial of Graphic Arts
The catalogue of the 17th International Biennial of Graphic Arts, which was on view at the Museum of Modern Art and the Rihard Jakopič Fine Art Gallery and included works by 699 artists from 58 countries. The works were evaluated by a seven-member international jury.
The main biennial exhibition and the personal retrospectives of the award-winners were designed by Zoran Kržišnik, Andrej Jemec, Jure Mikuž and Sergej Pavlin. The personal retrospectives of the first five award-winners of the previous edition (Joe Tilson, Susan Rothenberg, Harumi Sonoyama, Karen Dugas, Klavdij Tutta) were mounted and the accompanying texts published in the catalogue.
The catalogue is lavishly illustrated in black and white and includes a few colour reproductions of the exhibited works. On the cover is a reproduction of a work by Lojze Logar. Jože Brumen designed the print matter and typographically edited the catalogue and the poster.
