The 13th International Biennial of Graphic Arts
The catalogue of the 13th International Biennial of Graphic Arts, which was on view at the Museum of Modern Art and included works by 477 artists from 58 countries. The works were evaluated by an eight-member international jury.
The main biennial exhibition, the personal retrospectives of the award-winners and the accompanying exhibition were designed by Janez Bernik, Tomaž Brejc, Zoran Kržišnik and Jure Mikuž. The organisers mounted the personal retrospectives of the first four award-winners of the previous edition (Victor Pasmore, Tetsuya Noda, Vjenceslav Richter, Sol LeWitt) and, with a special exhibition, marked the 8oth birthday of Božidar Jakac. The accompanying texts were published in the catalogue.
The catalogue is lavishly illustrated in black and white and includes a few colour reproductions of the exhibited works. On the cover is a reproduction of a work by Tetsuya Noda. Jože Brumen designed the print matter and typographically edited the catalogue.
