Stojan Ćelić, Gentle Remains of Soil, 1966, colour aquatint; recipient of the International Jury Prize, 6th International Exhibition of Graphic Arts, Ljubljana, 1965.

The exhibition included fifteen prints made between 1963 and 1967. Stojan Ćelić masterfully developed his graphic expression in parallel with his painting. His prints, mostly black-and-white, are expressions created on the limits between light and darkness, lines and planes. His entire graphic oeuvre is characterised by his commitment to lines. He best expressed his compositions of lines combined with planes in etchings and aquatints.
