As the award recipient of the 26th Biennial of Graphic Arts in 2005, Trienal Poli/Gráfica de San Juan from Puerto Rico was presented with the Stigma group exhibition, showing how artists from Puerto Rico are addressing personal, racial, social and other stigmas. They create images that refer to the essential problems of the contemporary times. War, colonialism, prejudice, technology, tourism and unbridled violence are the main problems faced by Puerto Rico. At the same time, artists from Puerto Rico warn that their local problems are the problems of the whole world.
