The exhibition included four computer prints made in 1997. Slovenian artist Peter Ciuha was the first to receive a special acknowledgement of the international jury for computer graphics. For the exhibition, he prepared four new works in larger formats made by using a computer and a large-format plotter. A computer is a tool with which the artist discovers structures calculated with a fractal formula, structures that are actually sets of numbers. By assigning colours to the numbers, the structures become visible. The artist’s role is to select a graphically interesting composition, to freely colour it and transfer it to paper with a computer printer.
