Ten years after receiving the Grand Prize, Miroslav Šutej received the award of the international jury – this time, for his mobile prints that flirt with figuration and literature. For his personal exhibition, he prepared ten from the Pictures at the Exhibition series, made in 1983, which means he presented his latest works. The series consisted of black-and-white mobile prints. In this series, the mobile segments that form the artist’s characteristic mobile prints are more or less caught in massive frameworks that themselves can be either static or mobile. By moving the segments, the Pictures at the Exhibition can be transformed into the most diverse forms.
