The exhibition included fourteen prints made between 1980 and 1986. For Karen Dugas, a Canadian printmaker of French descent, this was her first solo exhibition outside Canada. The presented works left an important visual and psychological impression on the spectators. With passionate intensity, the formally elegant, convincing and unusually distant photo etchings of larger or large formats presented machines or mechanical interiors and biomorphic parts, sometimes also distorted human figures.
