The exhibition included fifteen colour etchings and aquatints made between 1962 and 1965. This small survey exhibition focused on the prints whose leading motif was writing. The prints were titled Note, Letter, Document and the like. In this stage of his development, which is referred to as the stage of Lettrism, he created his original version of it by exploring the relation between verbal and graphic signs.
