The solo exhibition of the recipient of the Grand Prize of the previous Biennial had two basic conceptual starting points and two formal wholes. Within these, a complete individual segment has been created for each gallery space. The first floor of the gallery presented projects relating to travel, walking, motion and finally the step, as the basic unit of human movement. Projects tied to walking are a constancy in the artist’s questioning of the social system, historically relevant facts, geographical features and relationships between individuals. Ephemeral materials, as a sort of residue or proof of execution and overcoming of certain distances, waved between photographic material, found objects, equipment, tools, etc. Exhibited on the second floor of the gallery presented objects made in the refuge of the artist’s studio, where the subtleties of playing with basic parts, physical features and properties of objects, as well as the fragility of the materials used, are interwoven in a playful narrative of the artist’s recording of reality.
