Crossroads / Meeting Point
In the summer, Ljubljana turns into a crossroads and a meeting point for many travellers and tourists. Various musical influences from all over the world will be crossing and meeting through the performances of musicians from six countries in Tivoli Park, in front of MGLC, on Tuesday nights. Tony Rose is a citizen of the world. Originally from Scotland, he is now based in Prague, Czech Republic. As an accomplished songwriter, many international artists cover his mix of country, blues and folk originals. He has travelled the world playing his songs with a number of bands, most notably Impure Thoughts and Two Dollar Bash from Berlin and the Band of Jakeys from Prague. Tony last album “Medicine Tunes/Roll High & Roll Good” was released in 2018 on Cannery Row Records. A double album, “Medicine Tunes” contained all new material while “Roll High & Roll Good” is a collection of Tony’s songs recorded by other artists.

A public guided tour of the Biennial will be held before the concert, starting at 18.30 at MGLC, in Slovene and English.
Both venues are open till 20.00 on Tuesdays.
